Mrs. Lovett’s Meat Pie Emporium in London – Re-Opening
By Toby
“Ladies and Gentleman, can I have your attention
pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease!” I am proud to announce that Mrs. Lovett’s Meat Pie
Emporium on Fleet Street will hold its official grand Re-Opening this Friday at
7p.m. The menu includes a variety of both savory and sweet pies served with
your choice of flavored ale or gin and created with deep love and affection.
Owner, cook and hostess Mrs. Lovett, has been
renovating the restaurant for the past four months. A real lady, she grew up
with a passion for cooking and a dream of running a restaurant. Mrs. Lovett
really nurtures her recipes to create the best flavors possible. Pleasant and
hard-working, she aspires to bring a new sense of comfort and hospitality to
the neighborhood with her emporium.
A rustic atmosphere with Victorian-style elements,
the establishment comfortably seats 50 people on the patio and ten people
inside. The patio is filled with Victorian lanterns, exotic birds, black wooden
chairs and tables that sit behind a picket fence. The lovely Mrs. Lovett
herself wears a Victorian gown bringing a touch of elegance to nature.
Free samples of every flavor of pie will be handed
out Friday afternoon from 12:30PM and 1:30PM right in front of the emporium on
Fleet Street. I can personally attest that the aroma from the shop alone will
leave your taste buds excitedly curious. Come taste the best pies in London!
